WHO • NMC • FMGE / NExT – Clear facts for a secure medical career.

Verify Standards

Can I Practice in India?

Yes, a degree from Kyrgyzstan is fully valid in India, provided the university and the student follow the NMC FMGL Regulations 2021. We only partner with universities that meet these strict criteria to ensure your future is safe.

1️⃣ WDOMS & WHO Listing

◉ Universities are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).
◉ This listing is the global "gold standard" required for USMLE (USA) and PLAB (UK) eligibility.
◉ Our suggested universities are recognized by the Ministry of Education & Science of Kyrgyzstan.

2️⃣ NMC (India) Compliance

Duration: Minimum 54 months (4.5 years) of academic study.
Internship: Mandatory 12-month internship in the same foreign institution.
Medium: The entire course must be taught in 100% English.
Registration: Students must be eligible to register as a practitioner in Kyrgyzstan.

3️⃣ The FMGE / NExT Exam

Screening: To practice in India, you must pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE).
NExT 2026: As of 2026, the National Exit Test (NExT) is the planned replacement for FMGE and NEET-PG.
Uniformity: NExT will be the same for both Indian and Foreign graduates, leveling the playing field.

⚠️ Mandatory Requirements

NEET Qualification: You MUST have qualified NEET in the year of admission (or within the last 3 years).
Authenticity: Beware of fake "3-year" or "4-year" fast-track degrees; these are NOT valid in India.
